• I was super happy when I found this studio; not only is its in the city, but it's a big space (2 studios), it is clean, the AC works great, and they already have the lights set up, so once you come, you're good to go right away. I will definitely use it more. It's good for big production as well as small ones.

• Contra Studios literally blew my mind!!! They have more space than I could imagine, with multiple studios. We were in heaven as we were able to shoot two models at once!! Not only that they have the best products and lighting to provide the best quality outcome!! Our shots came out superb! They also provided all the color pallets to shoot with including green screen fabrics and rolls. With a humongous meeting and common area, Contra Studios is one of the best in New York City.

• Great studio! I’ve had several photo shoots here on behalf of clients and the experience has always been great. Some studios are really rigid, with many add on fees; Contra Studios has always been flexible to meet the needs of my agency and clients. It’s easy to get to and has everything you need, and if there is some specific equipment you’re seeking, they will get it no problem.

• Great new space. While they are transitioning from a move last year.. they are designing it out...good things coming!!! and there are some paintings that need to be hung but we had a 26 person crew comfortable with plenty of space to spare. Hair makeup room fits 3 crew and 3 talent! They kitchen was FABULOUS. Everything you need is there. Hot water kettle, microwave, big fridge,.. you can put a folding table against the wall for added counter space. It was a pleasure to work around in.

• Excellent space for casting and shooting! Skilled and accommodating staff willing to assist and resolve any needs or situation that can arise. Very connected with access to talent, the latest equipment and top notch post production. All around a cool space with a great vibe and energy!
